Biography

Yousef A. Fouad, MD, FRCS (Glasg.), is a retina specialist and lecturer of ophthalmology at Ain Shams University Hospitals. He is a former visiting fellow at the Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, where he trained in retinal disorders and ophthalmic genetics. He specializes in retinal imaging and macular diseases and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and 3 book chapters. He also serves as an editor and reviewer for several reputable journals in the field.
