Vishali Gupta

Prof. Vishali Gupta is a globally respected Indian ophthalmologist and clinician-scientist specializing in vitreo-retina, uvea, and ocular inflammation. She has made significant research contributions in intraocular infections, tuberculosis-associated eye disease, diabetic retinopathy, and complex uveitis, and has delivered hundreds of invited lectures worldwide. In 2025 she became the first India-based clinician-scientist to win the prestigious International Uveitis Study Group gold medal for her work in ocular inflammation.
