Biography
Dr. Somaya Tawfiq Hanafi, MD, holds the Saudi Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in oculoplastics and orbit surgery. She completed fellowship training in oculoplastics and orbit at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH), Riyadh, in 2013. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from King Abdulaziz University (KAAU), Jeddah, in 2006.
Dr. Hanafi has pursued extensive professional development through national and international conferences, workshops, and symposia. She has expertise in functional and aesthetic injectables, advanced laser surgery, and ocular ultrasound. She is also active in medical education, teaching and participating in ophthalmology symposiums.
