Quan Dong Nguyen

Prof. Quan Dong Nguyen is an internationally recognized American ophthalmologist, clinician‑scientist, and academic leader specializing in uveitis, retinal vascular diseases, and ocular inflammation. He serves as a senior professor of ophthalmology and leads clinical care, research, and fellowship training at Stanford University’s Byers Eye Institute. His research has been foundational in advancing therapies for diabetic macular edema, age‑related macular degeneration, and intraocular inflammatory disorders, and he has directed numerous NIH‑sponsored and multicenter clinical trials.
