Biography
Dr. Mahmoud Khalil Al-Salem, MD, FRCS, DO, FRCOphth, FISOD, is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Professor of Ophthalmology at the Jordan University of Science & Technology. He is Director of Orbital and Oculoplastic Surgery at Eye Specialty Hospital in Amman, Jordan, and maintains a private oculoplastic practice. He is President of the Middle East Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (MESOPRS), a founder and board member of the Arab Board of Ophthalmology, and former Chairman of its Examination Committee. He is also an associate member of the European Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has served as a visiting consultant in Qatar since 1996.
