Mahmood Showail

Dr. Mahmood Showail, MD, FRCSC, is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at King Abdulaziz University and a Cornea, Anterior Segment, and Refractive Surgery Consultant at King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is also Chief of Ophthalmology at the International Medical Center (IMC) and previously served as Medical Director of Magrabi Al-Murjan Eye Complex. He trained at the University of Toronto, earned the FRCSC from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and completed fellowships in Cornea, External Disease, Refractive Surgery, and Pediatric Cornea at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. He is a founding member of the Saudi Group of Cornea and Refractive Surgery and has multiple peer-reviewed publications.
