Alaa Din Abdin

Alaa Din Abdin, MD, FEBO, FICO, MRCSEd (Ophth), is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Managing Senior Consultant. He specializes in medical and surgical vitreoretinal diseases and serves as Head of the Center for Intravitreal Injections in the Department of Ophthalmology at Saarland University Medical Center (UKS) in Homburg, Germany. He is an active member of the European and German societies for retinal diseases. His research focuses on age-related macular degeneration and pachychoroid spectrum disease. Dr. Abdin has organized and lectured at numerous national and international conferences and scientific meetings in this field.
