Aisha Al Busaidi

Biography
Dr. Al Busaidi, MD, completed her ophthalmology residency at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, followed by a clinical fellowship in glaucoma at the same institution.
She is currently a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Director of the Glaucoma Division at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Muscat, Oman. She also serves as Deputy Head of the Ophthalmology Department and Residency Program Director at the Oman Medical Specialty Board. Additionally, she chairs the hospital?s Training Committee and is a member of the editorial board for the Oman Journal of Ophthalmology. She is a former executive member of the Oman Ophthalmic Society.
Dr. Al Busaidi is actively involved in international professional organizations, including the Arab Board of Health Specializations and the ACGME-International. Her passions include glaucoma, medical education, women?s empowerment, and leadership.
