Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Senior Vitreoretinal Surgery Consultant. Co-founder of Al Mashreq Eye Center Specialized in Vitreoretinal Surgeries. Member of the Egyptian Vitreo-Retinal Society [EGVRS] since the year 2010 and is now a member of the EGVRS scientific committee. Fellow of the Royal college of physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow), since the year 2011 Member of The American society of retina specialists. Head of the Trainee program for aspiring Vitreoretinal Surgeons at Al Mashreq Eye center. Head of ROP Surgical retina and Screening team at Al Mashreq eye Center. Performed more than 3000 anterior segment procedures, 6000 vitreoretinal surgeries and 200 Retinopathy of prematurity surgeries. Co-authored several publications in vitreoretinal diseases and surgeries.
